Dave Johnston has served as the Chairman/Executive Director of the Fort Bend Business Coalition since the organization’s inception. He has been a Sugar Land resident for more than 14 years and he is proud to contribute to his community. Johnston served on the Board of Directors and as Senior Vice President of BGE, Inc., a consulting engineering firm, headquartered in Houston until his retirement. He continued to work as a Consultant for BGE, Inc. providing advice on its expansion beyond Texas. He has been involved with several civic and charitable organizations including the Fort Bend Chamber of Commerce, Child Advocates of Fort Bend and the Greater Fort Bend Economic Development Council.
Jim Russ serves as Secretary of the Fort Bend Business Coalition. A native Houstonian, Russ is a fourth generation Principal at one of Houston’s longest standing, privately owned Engineering firms, EHRA Engineering. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with family and friends and serving his community through his volunteer work as an Executive Committee Member, Board Member and Committee Chair for numerous Civil Construction and Engineering industry professional organizations and associations, chambers of commerce and economic development councils throughout the Greater Houston region. An avid supporter of Texas A&M University where he earned his Building Construction degree, Russ takes great pride in his involvement with The Association of Former Students, The Texas A&M Foundation, the 12th Man Foundation, the Chancellor’s Century Council, College of Architecture and School of Public Health.
Jared Jameson serves as Treasurer of the Fort Bend Business Coalition. He has been a longtime resident of Fort Bend County and serving his community has always been of great importance. Jameson has taken an active role in numerous charities and organizations in addition to the Coalition, including the Greater Fort Bend Economic Development Council and the Fort Bend County Women’s Center. He also serves as the CEO of WJ Interests, LLC. WJ Interests has provided financial planning and investment management services to individuals, families and businesses for over two decades. Jameson earned a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Southern Methodist University and an MBA degree from the University of Texas at Austin. Jameson is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP).
